I bought this to use for automatically cycling an RO system to fill a tank as needed, the 1/4 PTC connections worked great and didn't leak at all when fully seated, I love the mounting points it has, and the simple 2 terminal 12v switching worked perfectly.My issue is that for filling my large tank, I needed this to be on for long periods of time. I looked everywhere to try to find some sort of spec for the duty cycle it could handle and unfortunately it isn't rated anywhere. I naively hooked it up anyway and ran it for a short amount of time before noticing it was quickly getting quite hot. I found another similar product that called out that getting hot is normal and it will cap out at 60 C, which is fairly uncomfortable to touch. I continued down the rabbit hole and discovered that a solenoid like this really isn't meant to stay energized for long periods of time and for that a motorized ball valve is a better option. So ultimately my only complaint is the lack of specks or duty cycle call out, but if you are using it for smaller bursts of maybe 15-20 minutes or less then it's great.
