I was excited to try this 4 blade on my alpha 1 with 4.3L 205 HP mercury inboard. It was disappointing. I went from a 19 pitch t3 blade to a 21 pitch 4 blade. I lost time to plane, lost top speed too. My 4.3 didn't have the power and my speed was reduced to 38 mph. It was 45mph before the change. This might work on a v8 engine. I put it on in the fall so I didn't get a chance to test it, so I can't return it. On the bright side...It looked good, packed well,fit perfectly. It was too much prop for my boat & it's for sale!

my boat came with a 23 pitch which made it over proped for the motor, bought this 21 pitch and now have great hole shot and top end speed

Installs easily and priced just right to make this the better decision verses having the old prop repaired. No instructions but I knew that the large spacer had to be flush so driving the plastic insert all the way in seemed like the right thing to do and it was.

This is a very well-made prop. This is a spare prop for those emergencies that will happen from time to time.

I needed to replace the prop on my fishing boat since one of the last time I was out I hit a log that was submerged and mine got chewed up pretty badly. The water levels had dropped a lot since the last time I was near that area of the water, so a sunken tree was more exposed and my propellor caught one of the thicker branches. This prop was an easy switch out and now she's running smooth again. Easy fix!
