The part will not fit on a 2000 Maxima. It's awesome purchase, but definitely not for 5th generation Maxima as the vacuum holes are half the size of the original part and no clamp will secure the hose fir the two vacuum lines won't fit side by side. Best have a pictutof your part to compare them.

It went on super easy and fast haven’t seen if it works yet but I’m pretty sure it will I called auto zone and they want 134$ and I said your crazy and I told him it was on Amazon and he said but the convenience of picking it up today that’s y it’s expensive and I said oh so you have it there now ? And he was like no he’d have it tomorrow for me to pick up lol I said well I’ll just get it off amazon and have to dropped off at my house lol

installed it today , cleared the money light but the side pins on the plug are transposed to the factory plug. i just ground off those and it worked and was able to plug it in till it clicked . time will tell if the part actually will stand the test of time
