We are often asked "What is Die-Striking" and "Why does it matter?" To put it simply, it is the old way of making jewelry that is not widely used in today's day and age. The manufacturer creates each item individually which makes an heirloom quality item and ensures you are getting the highest quality, precise details, and superior durability.
Two custom crafted pieces of steel, the hub (male) and the master die (female) are struck together with the gold or silver between them to gently form the desired shape using as much as 50 tons of pressure. This immense amount of pressure makes the jewelry highly dense and therefore very durable.

The pendant itself is very nice. Exactly what I was looking for. The bale is very thin and feels and sounds cheap… it makes a hollow sounding rattle against the chain. I plan to take it to a jeweler and replace the bale… would’ve probably just looked for another version of this pendant with a thicker bale.

I've been anxiously awaiting this 14k gold 25mm St. Christopher medal. I ordered it to replace an old sterling silver St. Christopher - my first - given to me as a gift many years ago by two married friends of mine, one of whom has since passed away. It held very high sentimental value to me but needed to be retired.When I opened the package, I was blown away by this medal's appearance and quality. It was beyond what I had expected. Kinda got me a bit emotional...it was difficult to store the old one away because of its history but this medal will fill its shoes well and honor their introduction of St. Christopher to me.It's very classy, extremely handsome and worth every penny and more. The Saint Christopher Pendant arrived in a nice gift box. Beautiful pendant as described and will make a great Christmas present. Very detailed, and seems like a very nice quality piece of work. Thank youAfter wearing for a couple of weeks, the Saint Christopher Pendant started warping due to the 14k being soft and hollow per description. We sent pendant back for a full refund.
