I have a PCV hose on my engine that has slipped off the fitting every few years, causing really rough idle and a CEL. Because it attaches in a very hard-to-reach location, I couldn't get a zip tie or conventional clamp onto that area. With these clamps, I had just enough room to shove my arm in their and install and tighten the clamp. This hose isn't coming off again until I want it to.

I use several hose clamps in my homebrewing and project activities. They do a good job but I find it’s annoying to have to go and find a screwdriver or wrench each time I want to adjust or move them. These clamps from Twaitu have wingnuts that can be manually adjusted and so eliminate the need for a tool. The kit contains 14 of these hose clamps supplied in a plastic zip-lock type bag. It took 14 days for the delivery after placing the order.In use I had some problems. Tightening a clamp worked well – the clamp smoothly compressed onto a hose. Loosening the clamp was difficult. It seemed like the worm gear was only loosely held in its housing and could slide out about a mm or two allowing the worm gear to lift out of the slots in the clamp and effectively lock-up. Pushing in the wing nut hard while loosening seemed to fix this.These are more expensive than regular hose clamps (without the wingnuts) and I feel that they should be better made. I would give this product 3½ stars if I could, but I’m feeling generous.
