I bought this for my pickup truck because I occasionally need to pull a loaded pallet to the tail. I loop a strap around the link and tie the other end to a forklift and drag the skid to the tailgate.Works like a charm 👍

So, these things are made for hauling auto's, but I use them with cables and snack blocks to rip trees, and their roots out of the ground! They are rock solid, and do a great job. I have not ran up against a tree I can't rip out of the ground yet. The roots are the key in the end.

Shopped many j-hooks on many sites. This is the ONLY seller who offered an INSIDE measurement of the hook they were selling. I was looking for a hook that would fit over a variety of axle housings for easy tie-down on my flatbed trailer. This one fits the housing on my 66' air-cooled v-dub and also the larger housings on my vintage American cars and trucks. Also, the loops through the ends of these j-hooks easily accommodate the hooks on my large ratchet straps, no additional hardware needed. Simple, easy, secure tie-down solution.
