I didn't have a problem with the lids. You do have to turn it tight, but not ridiculously tight. I was able to lay it on it's side without leaking. Cute addition to my mini charcuterie.

Love these! They seal decently well, but be careful as some feel sealed and aren’t and you may need to get some extra muscle to ensure a complete seal. They create the cutest packaging for a party shower and I used them also to decorate the tables at my shower. Helps they are so cute!

Assembly of the pieces was very easy but will take a little time to get it all done. I underestimated the amount of honey needed to fill the jars. You need about 110oz of honey to fill them all. Also, I chose to use large syringes 60ml (no needles) to transfer 110 degree (heated) honey from a bowl into each jar. This made the honey less viscous and easier to suck up into the syringes. The neatly fill the entire jar without any spills or sticky honey getting on everything. Once filled, make sure you use one of those rubber jar openers to close the lids very tightly. You don't want to run any risk of a leak. Came with exact quantities of lids, jars, stickers, and honey spoons. There was extra string, tags, and little metal honey bees provided. It is one of the best "shower favors" you can find for the money.

DO NOT USE FOR LIQUIDS.. The only reason this got any stars is that there is no option to do zero stars and the review page would not let me use just one star!!!! These are cute and appear as advertised but the lids do not stay one. They won't even tighten. If you give these as a favor you will end up with spilled honey everywhere. We were in a time bind so we had to put a strip of clear packing tape around the top of each jar. Definitely not pretty but it worked.

The tops do not fit the jars . After washing , putting the labels on the lids, I filled the jars with honey. Putting the lids on they seem to fit until you touch it and the lid pops off. Needing to use them for a baby shower there was not enough time to return and repurchase and repurchase more honey. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

These are the cutest little favors ever! We filled them with honey for a Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower. PLEASE KNOW THAT THE LIDS WILL CLOSE, you just have to turn them very hard and you will be able to feel them lock in place. Highly recommend!
