I ordered this for the shop, and I am going to use it for now but there are a couple of disappointing things that need to be pointed out. First, it's quite a bit smaller than I expected. I would put this about one half to one step up from a basic desk fan as far as size as well as air flow capabilities. This isn't bad but just isn't as good as I would expect based on their description on their Amazon page. Secondly and even more problematic for me is that it doesn't look like the fan works if the battery is dead and it's plugged in until there is charge again on the battery. I am based on the fact that when this arrived the battery was completely dead and so I plugged it in and went to test it, but nothing happened. I tried several things (I have a good working knowledge of electronics by the way) and found that until it had a certain percentage of charge it wouldn't work even though it was plugged in. During the summer I have fans that stay on for the entire day and then some and if this one won't do that then it loses a lot of its value to me. A final point is that at this price I would like to have also had a remote control of some sort included to make it more functional. So, I would suggest that you plan ahead and take note of the points I have made before purchasing this fan, because it will work but has its limitations.

Nice long battery life and a great air mover! I was super impressed with how well a battery-operated fan did in the muggy heat of spring! Great value for the money, five very happy stars!

The “SheerAIRE 16" Rechargeable Battery-Operated Fan with Metal Blades, 12-Speed Cordless Portable Floor Fan for Home & Office, Reverse Charging, Suspensibility, and Electric High Velocity (Black)” produces a significant amount of air for its compact size. It took longer than I expected to charge fully. I like the 12 speeds. It is well-made and can be used while plugged in also.

This fan is way smaller than description ! Also battery life sucks took 12hrs to fully charge after 15minutes of use it started to diminish in battery - not even on high setting-WASTE OF MONEY-can’t return- Amazon said “I wasn’t guaranteed money back” I’m out $60 for this crap fan! Don’t buy it!no help from Amazon customer service

I got this as a portable livestock fan. I think it might be a little small for this, but I like the overall build quality. I like that it has a battery, so I can move it where I don't have power all the time if I need to. It is a little smaller than I expected, but the description is accurate.

I got this fan to use at our cabin on the front porch. Last year I decided to install a fan outside on my back porch for when we're out there eating, to keep the flies away. It o ly needs to be on low & works like a charm. A benefit I hadn't expected eas that keeping the fan on also kept flies out of my house! The kids & grandkids running in & out of the back door to the pool usually means I'm constantly fighting flies. They're so grossss!! But the new fan ladt year virtually eliminated the problem. So I got this outdoor fan to solve the same problem at our cabin. This fan is really good quality! It's actually really quiet too. I charged it to 100% & then ran it on medium speed until the battery died. It lasted NINE HOURS & 43 MINUTES! That's much longer than I ever expected from a rechargeable fan. I'm so impressed with this! I can't wait to use it at our cabin when we go in June. I'll try to remember to update with a picture after our trip.
