These "glass" beads are really orbeez. I was forced to use because of a time constraint unfortunately. Item NOT AS ADVERTISED!

We use these beads for centerpieces for my daughter’s baby shower in glass vase. Came out very nice the only suggestion is to make sure you place in water ahead time they take a little time to expand.

Beads were fun to make and worked perfectly. The pictures show a 3.5 cup cylinder vase with 1 teaspoon of beads in the left vase then 2 tsps, then 3 and 4. In just three hours, the 4 tsp vase was overflowing and they still grew for a couple hours. A little goes a long way. The result was beautiful. To float, I used sprigs, off bushes in my neighborhood, and plastic pearls. It was fun to play around with and so satisfying to watch the vase come to life as you fill it up with water, having the floating decor become visible. You can rinse the beads off and then store them in a zip lock baggie for months at a time.

We drastically overestimated the amount of beads we would need when we got this. They expand quite drastically and we were able to fill more than a dozen jars for our Halloween decorations and still have plenty leftover. Definitely recommend

I didn’t realize how much these expand! I ordered way too much. 2 bags filled well over 2 5 gallon buckets. We ended up freezing one bucket full and used it to ice some bottles for a wedding. It kept the bottles cold and looked better than regular ice as the bottles weren’t floating in want at the end of the night!
