IMO these are the perfect thickness for multiple calipers. I cut them in half for .22 I like to clean my barrels with a jag and the “cloth” style is too thick. I never found that the loop patch holder effectively pushed the crud through. These work perfectly. Not sure the cloths are what I’m looking for to wipe my guns down, but a great value

I always end up buying bags of assorted patch sizes but always end up using the same size patches for all my guns, no matter the caliber. I've realized it's easier to just buy the most versatile size in bulk.This kit is awesome! You get a gazillion patches that are the perfect size for both pistols and rifles (at least in my opinion). They hold up well to the wire bristle bore brush without breaking or stringing and they do a good job of cleaning.In addition to the patches you also get 4 really nice gun cloths. The plastic tote that it comes in is also great for keeping all my solvents and stuff in so I can just grab this one box with everything I need. And at under $14 I think it's a fantastic value. I will definitely be getting another of these when this one runs out (though it might be a while! :). I would definitely recommend this cleaning patch kit.

If you clean your firearms regularly, you will run out of cleaning patches at some point. This kit is a great choice to do so. The patches are a nice size and very absorbent. They do not fall apart and leave loose threads. The microfiber clothes are great for wiping things down afterwards. This should last you several years so buy without hesitation!

These patches come in a nice clear plastic box to keep everything together for storage, yet easily accessible. They are decently large but thin, which I actually prefer for cleaning smaller caliber barrels. I've mistakenly bought the cotton cloth type patches, which sometimes turn out to be too thick to go through 5.56 or 22LR. These thin patches are obviously not as absorbent, but have no problems going through the tight barrels and I can even double up if necessary. Because of the thinness, I wouldn't waste these for 9mm or larger, where the thicker cotton patches work just fine. The price is pretty reasonable for this many patches as well as including 4 relative nice and large microfiber cleaning cloths to keep in the range bag and the cleaning toolbox.

Synopsis:Patches are a bit thin, but worked just fine. Brand recommended.Initial impressions:Cloths came in a box that holds all parts and keeps them tidy. The patches are thinner than standard but we're consistent size and made well. The cloths worked fine, but I don't really use them much. Good for chrome finishes or blades or things you don't want fingerprints to show up.Use:I cleaned a bunch of items so far and have zero complaints. I was initially concerned about the thickness, but the performance was there so they workout out fine. Absorption was satisfactory and they are a good general size for most uses. I'll use them a lot! The cloths are fine, but I don't really find I use them much. Maybe that will change since I have a bunch of them now? I can definitely recommend this brand in whichever configuration you decide on as they make a bunch of different combinations of cleaning products.

Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This product contains 1500 2 x 2 squares, lint free. cleaning patches. These are precut and ready to go. The kit also contains 4 microfiber cleaning cloths for use on the metal parts of the gun. These cloths are 1 1/2 inches square. They work well cleaning the metal parts of the gun on the outside. I simply spray a small amount of gun oil on them and use to wipe the gun down. The 2 x 2 patches work well with a small amount of gun oil to lubricate the inside of the barrel after it has been cleaned. After using the 2 x 2 patches they are tossed. The cloths are put back in the kit for the next time I clean a gun. I have used several times and they are still useful. The Kit comes in a plastic resealable box that easily hold both of these products. Overall I approve of this product.

So this package comes with 1500 cotton squares for cleaning...appear to be made of thin t-shirt type material and are definitely on the small side. Not a big deal for me because I'll primarily use them for handgun cleaning but may go through a lot of them if using for rifles. I don't know if I'll be using the "12x12 reusable microfiber gun cleaning cloths" as they aren't impregnated with anything like silicon or something that will leave a coating on my gun. I prefer that. These remind me of really large eyeglass cleaning cloths...which is great...I will find some other use for them I'm sure....but I probably won't use them on my guns. All in all very happy with these set and can recommend. Thumbs up!
