These tooth savers are great for little ones losing their first tooth. The string is short for larger kids- and may struggle pulling over their heads.

My kindergarten students love to receive a tooth necklace when they loose a tooth at school. The nurse usually has them, but I got these to be able to always have them handy. The holders are cute and closes well, but I out a small piece of tape on them just in case to prevent it opening and really losing a tooth. Such a fun memory for the kids to get their tooth necklace.

What a great idea to help kids feel proud of losing their teeth as they grow. I'm going to a fairy fair in a few months and I'll be giving these to all the kiddos from the Tooth Fairy. My granddaughter thought it was a great idea too. The only thing is that you have to be very careful when opening or you will get a tangled mess--took me 20 minutes to untangle. But it is worth it.
