They just didn’t finish it out… They just need to test the product, and work out the flaws, and they would seriously have something. It’s too wobbly, and since then I’ve bought a Dewalt, and the Dewalt works really well where it just simply fails. Also, the key doesn’t work on the chuck. I did drill a new hole for the chuck key to fit into and it worked, but I shouldn’t have to do that.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

The drill chuck works fine, but the first portion of the hex shank is too long to be locked in by an impact driver, which was the intended use. It's almost twice as long as any impact-ready bit before the taper. So while it can accept a drill bit to drill a hole, it will simply pop out of the driver after every hole drilled. Imo, there is no reason for this. I plan to cut 3/16ths to 1/4 inch off of the end with an angle grinder so that it works properly... But I shouldn't have to. Furthermore, it turns out that impact drivers are less good at drilling than drills (who knew, right?). It just doesn't spin fast enough. So, while this is a nice utility piece that works in a pinch, it is not an adequate replacement for a cordless drill if you need to drill several holes in even a soft metal like copper or aluminum. Don't even try drilling steel with an impact driver unless the hole is quite small.
Twice order both times chuck stuck both times. :-(

The key does engage in the three holes, but doesn't correctly engage on the cogwheel/ring. Due to too much play in the general assembly of the chuck. It's not well designed nor manufactured. The hexagonal adapter is too long and will not be locked in your impact drill, like said in other comments.I wish I would not have bought this.To return for reimbursement. tThis cannot have passed quality tests, especially not the one about fitting the international drill bit size. This needs to be removed from the market, it's absurd to sell such an non working imitation of a chuck, invented a century ago.Thank you for any improvement regarding these issues.
