What you see is what you get. It's very simple and is real metal and real wood. The wood base is a decent type of wood - not super cheap, but not oak, either. It's solid. My only con is that it honestly seems like more of a $17 price item than $21+. Looks nice, though. Maybe even more than it looks in the picture.

They need to take more care when shipping this item..placing it in a bag with no padding is not the best way to ship.. it was a cheaply made item so we returned and did not purchase again

Sometimes a thing comes along that is exactly what it claims to be. This towel holder actually exceeds expectations. Not only does it hold a towel as if that is all it was placed on this earth to do, it also looks amazing whole doing it! I've had it for a few months now, and I've been watching. It has not dropped the towel once. I've never even seen it falter or almost lose its balance. It's just incredible. You have to see it to really appreciate the magnificence.

I wanted to find a kitchen hand towel rack for my counter so that I could cut down on constant usage of paper towels for hand washing and this is perfect. It’s sturdy and doesn’t tip over. It has a “homey” rustic look to it and it’s tall enough so that the towel doesn’t lay on the counter. My only issue is that it’s a little hard to screw the screws into the wood for the metal base but it’s doable. It looks great and I would recommend it for purchase.
