I took off brand new galvanized ones when I saw these online. I don't regret it one minute. It was extra cost yet the gates work so much smoother and stay in position. They look clean and are certainly well-made a worthwhile purchase.

Nice finish on the metal with no rough edges.Look attractive with good construction.Very intelligent design. The way the part of the hinge that goes on the gate itself pulls apart from the half that attaches to the fence post makes it very easy to install and slip into place.Hardware appears to be very durable. We do not expect to need to replace these over decades.Worth every penny. (We have a lot of gates to compare.)

I am in the process of fencing in my yard and gates are something that is very important. I live on a volcano and so I do have to be careful of acid rain. My Home Depot hogwire fence dissintegrated after 3 years, so now I only use high quality galvanized or stainless steel fencing and hardware. This popped up on my VINE feed and thought it would be useful. The hinge feels very strong and durable. It's super shiny and has a smooth action. Time will only tell if it's high quality stainless, but so far, it is working well.
