This is a good item to have if you have a portable tire inflator and the inflation hose is short. I have an inflator that came with a 12" hose, so this is a good replacement as it provides a hose that is twice as long. I also really like the quick connector for the tire schrader valve. Many inflators have a rubber compression type fitting and this will wear out eventually or you'll have trouble getting it properly seated on the tire valve. The quick connector on this hose is very easy to use and made from metal, so it should last a while.Please make sure you inspect the screw connection on your inflator to ensure this hose will fit. The screw connection on this hose is smaller than a schrader valve screw connection. Some inflators have a larger screw connection (it looks like the same size as a schrader valve) and this hose will not fit those.

I have three battery operated tire inflators. Two of them came with 18” hoses which are oftentimes too short to allow the inflators to sit on the ground. I ordered this hose for one of two inflators because the added 6” is usually sufficient enough to allow the inflator to sit on the ground.The hose itself is well made. The rubber is highly flexible and appears to be durable. The air chuck clamps onto the valve stem rather than having to screw it on which I like, and the spring on the air chuck is definitely strong enough to tightly hold it onto the valve stem. The deflator button is also a nice feature, especially considering that the hose that came with my tire inflator does not have one.One thing to be aware of is whether the 6mm connection thread size fits your needs. The advertisement says that “The OD 0.23”/6mm thread size allows for direct connection to most battery-operated portable inflators…” As I noted above, I have three battery operated inflators, and this hose only fits one of them. Perhaps most inflators do have a 6mm connection, but it is a good idea to be sure before you buy this (or any other) air hose. I think a good solution to this problem would be for the manufacturer to include adapters compatible with the most common inflator connections. It would certainly increase the value of their product.At the time I ordered this air hose it was $9.99. I believe that is a fair price for what you get given its overall quality.

I would highly recommend this hose extension for the little rechargeable tire inflators.This extension just makes everything easier. This hose gives you nice length, that it actually rests on the ground instead of hanging, while pulling on the hose.The tire inflator device on this hose, you just grip it and push it onto the valve stem. When done, squeeze it and pull it off.It even fits in the case that I bought for my tire inflator.

This fit my handheld air pump like a glove it works really great I wish I would have gotten a longer length I got the 15 in it will screw into any 6 mm handheld air pump
