I have used these in the past — ordered these to replenish my personal stock — I like that they lay flat on the inside of the wall instead of the old school that bites into the drywall — the screws are pretty big so these aren’t necessarily for hanging pictures but rather for hanging shelving and such — these would be excellent for block walls — if I get more I will opt for a much smaller size

While it's never ideal to hang a TV or something else heavy, large and valuable from just drywall, sometimes there just no way around it. But, if you have to hang something heavy from drywall, these are the only kind of anchors you want to use! With these anchors, if the item falls, it's because it took all the drywall with it. These can also be used to mount heavy items to hollow core masonry blocks (i.e. cinderblocks) and I've even used them when mounting a TV to metal studs (which on their own generally aren't thick or strong enough to keep a screws threads from stripping out and pulling out). These anchors arrived in a ziplock bag with 15 anchors, 15 machine bolts (1/4" x 2.5" long) and 15 washers. There were no instructions included, but it's easy to find information online on how to install them. Just, drill a 1/2" diameter hole in the drywall, slide the anchor in, then pull on the plastic loop at the end of the anchor to hold the metal part tight against the backside of the drywall as you slide the plastic retainer clip into the hole you drilled and tight against the face of the drywall. This will hold the anchor in place so you can break or cut off the plastic arms of the anchor, leaving just the retainer clip showing on the face of the drywall. Then mount your TV (or whatever you're mounting) by screwing the machine bolt into the metal portion of the anchor behind the drywall. This set of 15 gives you enough to do at least a couple TVs (I would put at least 6 anchors into the wall if you're not able to get any fasteners into actual studs). And they're cheaper than buying them at the big orange box store. Love it!

They work really nice when you know how to install them properly. Do not force the screws in when tightening, this can cause for the whole assembly to fall into the wall.
