The holes did not line up for the mounting bolts.I had to beat on the wings of the tine to bet the holes lined up.This is not a huge deal but did knock some of the finish off.It feels well made, and I believe it will hold up well to heavy use.I would buy it again, but wanted to mention the issue I ran into.4 STARS

The steel is the same dimensions as the ripping shanks on my box blade. It extends a bit further down than the rippers do but not far enough so I can really use it as intended. I think my 55hp cat 1 tractor could be a bit much for it but I'll make an attachment to hold it and give it a real test in the near future. But it held up just fine when I installed it on the BB.I wanted a way to remove small roots after removing stumps. I have a full size backhoe for the stumps so anything large gets removed but afterwards there's always small roots and a hole to finish filling in. I'm hoping that a few passess in multiple directions will loosen up the ground while ripping out the small trash will allow me to level the ground easier while leaving as much top soil as possible. So far it has proven it's up to the job.

This ripper should work well for what I have in mind. Made pretty well it's certainly got a lot of mass. Plenty of Metal you know isnt gonna bend or brake easily is easy to.assemble and has good deal of adjustability

The weight and workmanship is of very good quality. However, when trying to install it on the tractor, the setup on the three-point hitch was not the same as on the ripper. I had to make an adapter for it to work. I have a John Deere 3520. Performance wise it was spot on once I got it up and running. We have rocky sandy loam on our property in Central Texas

The Aurogsky 16" Hitch Mounted Ripper Box Scraper, Trenching Sub Soil Shank, Landscaping Equipment Fits 2in Receiver Adapters, CAT 0 and CAT 1 Tractor wing style is sturdy and capable of doing the job. However, when I received it I had to re-drill holes on the shank in order to assemble it to the wing tabs. The rear hole wasn't even close to lining up. The hardware that's included for assembly was Grade 5 and wouldn't last 10 minutes once the unit began ripping soil. I replaced them with Grade 8 nuts and bolts to save myself frustration later. The design and primary materials used in the manufacture are good; the lack of quality control in the machining process is my only issue. Once corrected, the item is ready to rip soil and should do it very well. If the need for re-drilling and replacing the hardware with this item didn't happen; I'd recommend it as an excellent value!
