Wow, I simply removed the original carburetor and installed this new unit.After comparing old to new I decided to utilize one of the provided screws as a "stop."***** 20 minute job and engine runs like new! *****2017 Cub Cadet XT1 50" Kohler 7000 series 24 hpI only purchased this for the Carburetor Kit and consider the other items as good spares.None of the items are OEM, but I have used non OEM parts identical to everything in this kit before without issue.If this is your first time attempting the replacement of these items, please remember to take detailed pictures before anything is removed to use as a visual guide.This was so simple that I believe it can be done by anyone.I highly recommend and will purchase again!

Saved me a ton of time and hassle. Gaskets were correct and engine ran exactly like it was supposed to. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I did not have to fool with the original. For this price it was totally worth not rebuilding or trying to clean the original.

Don't waste your money, these are cheap and unreliable parts. Fuel filter was way too big, doesn't look anything like the original. The carburetor has cheap brittle plastic on it. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Also didn't come with an oil filter line the description says and it also says oil pipe? Whatever that is.

Went on no problem, works well. Old mower runs great, like new! Be sure to watch how-to videos on youtube for important details such as transferring a small plastic grommet from the old carburetor to the new one. Surprisingly, the kit does NOT include one.Also, many Kohler engines are twin cylinders, but only 1 spark plug is included. Still, it is a good value.

this unit would have worked I suppose with a little modification, ended up taking new parts out of it and rebuilding the original, that was easier than modifying it
