The best connectors for solar panels I have ever used. I have bought them 3 times before and there is a big difference in quality between them. Don’t go cheap on these parts.

These MC4 connectors are on the higher end of build quality compared to most offerings. They function very well and are able to accept 10 AWG so there's less loss, worth it in my opinion. Very easy to use with the included tools, all you'll need is a crimper of your choice. For the price, I'd definitely throw it in any small projects just in case you need to modify some connections.

This is a nice packet of MC4 parts. I assembled a pair of the terminations for a XT60 to MC4 patch cable. All parts are well made, and fit together well. I was using 10AWG wire, and the gasket compressed down to tightly grip the insulation. I have a dedicated MC4 crimper, and the center pins were able to be crimped correctly. Pins fitted together tightly.The two MC4 wrenches are a nice touch. They worked well on these terminations and terminations from other manufacturers. Thank goodness for international standards.One hint if you are making patch cables that need to be connected/disconnected frequently for testing purposes: cut off the latching prongs. The center pins are tight enough to maintain continuity while you do the testing. You won’t need to use the wrenches for disconnecting.If you need a supply of MC4 parts, I would recommend this packet.

Most of the MC4 connectors I have used have had either smooth or toothed strain-relief pieces in the caps that go over the wires. I provided an exploded view of these so that you can see the black strain relief pieces actually snap into place in these connectors.The metal guide that holds the pins is place is also different, in that you can actually disassemble the plug easily after you make a connection! No more having to cut off a connector, as these will disassemble without a problem. The ring that the pin snaps into will come back out and since it is split, you can sligtly pry it open and it will release. This is outstanding to me, allowing me to replace a too-short or too-long cable just using extra pins instead of replacing the entire ends.The first picture is an exploded view of these connectors (on top), and the other connectors that I have used. This will now definitely be my brand of choice. Price is great as well.

Barely fits 8awg wire. Nice and thick connections. Gripe is that you have to cut plastic on female connector to be able to separate them.

I do not recommend buying this if you need the spanner wrenches. I have ordered this product twice and the spanner wrenches have not come either time. If the wrenches would actually come in the package like they are saying it would be a good product. UPDATE. The company contacted me to make this right. They did send me the wrenches. I am happy with the outcome.
