This is a perfect set for someone who could use a few variable sizes for those mini projects that cross-stitchers sometimes just decide to start. The fabric is very stiff, which is expected for Aida. It doesn't shed too much, is the right thickness, and doesn't shrink after going through a brief rinse in the sink. I don't care for keeping "trimmings" off a bigger project just in case I might want to use them, so this is a great solution to a weird little problem. I made two projects with the smallest size, about 35x35 stitches in size, and there's enough margin around the edges to frame or finish in some other way.
