These are great little patches to quickly and inexpensively repair screens on doors, windows, etc. Note that these patches are backed with clear adhesive, so air will not flow through the squares. I used one patch lined up on each side of my torn screen, for strength and also so that the adhesive wouldn't get all over my screen. I hope that strategy will keep the screen clean and free of adhesive. By getting this inexpensive kit, I can repair every screen for just pennies each! I saved myself $50 by not having to buy a new screen for my window! I wish I had known about these patches before I had my other window screen replaced.

I knew it was going to be an obvious patch; I just didn't realize how obvious it would be. I honestly didn't have a ton of confidence in the adhesive, but when I checked it two weeks later, it's still holding up and the tear in the screen is still effectively closed. I'd say this is a good solution for when you absolutely can't get it repaired professionally, but know that it will look like you clearly fixed it yourself.

These screen repair patches couldn’t be easier to use and do the job. I used one of these to patch over a hole in my window screen and it sticks well. As with any glue, I wonder how long it will hold, but I can always use another patch if this one falls off.These patches come in convenient pre-cut sizes, but you can easily trim them further to suit your needs with an ordinary pair of scissors.

Screen hole repair kit. Comes with several different sizes for varying amounts of damage repairs. Quite sticky, shouldn't be coming loose. Only potential problem is the sticky glue could become a sticky trap for the tiny bugs and insects; we'll see. The entire screen patch is covered on one side with the sticky glue that covers the gaps between the screen as well, so no actual venting by the patch area; but that isn't an issue. As a percentage of area of the screen, the reduced air flow would be very very small. (Note, the smallest size that could be used for covering the window weep holes has the sticky glue only around the edges, so it would still allow water to drain out!)

Living in a 100+ year old house, you have to pick and choose your home improvement projects. Windows are on the list, but we had to do things like the roof, the furnace, the driveway, etc. first. As a result, our windows/screens are in sad shape. I was thinking that patching the screens would be a major headache, but this screen repair kit made it a BREEZE! Pun intended :)The variety of sizes of patches made it super simple to select and repair every hole or tear. Small ones for the cat claws, large ones for the periphery tears, and every size in between. The screen mesh itself is extremely well made (probably better made than the screen in the windows) and the adhesive is strong and stuck instantly, even in this humid/pollen-saturated environment. EASY. SIMPLE. Excellent value for the money! Would highly recommend to anyone needing some DIY screen repair.

Last season, I purchased two replacement screens for a couple of windows and the screens were around $300 each; could not believe how expensive they were. Been using duct-tape to cover larger screen holes; not very pretty and they keep falling off. So, I'm giving these a shot. The adhesive seems strong, the package contained multiple sizes and it "does the job". If they're still there in a year, it'll be a total win all around.
