I give it 3 stars because I like how thick and comfortable it is, however I bought 2 sets and I can’t combine the two to make a larger mat.

very thick and sticks together very well, I just purchased 3 more🙌, the only thing though is just not a true orange color, is more like a dark tan color instead but overall is great for my 9 months old baby room !!!

I got these for our living room now that our daughter is walking and could easily trip over blankets on the ground. This was easy to unbox and put together. The foam is cushy and a lot better than sitting on a hard floor. My daughter enjoys pulling off the edge pieces and biting them, and they have not broken down/split yet, so that's a good sign. The pieces are about 12x12 and create a 4x4 mat.If you're concerned about off-gassing of chemicals, especially formamide, I didn't know to be concerned when I first purchased these, but a study in Brazil showed that up to 50% of off-gassing happens in the first two weeks after the package is opened. If you're concerned, perhaps open the package and let the tiles sit in a garage or outdoor area for a few weeks before using. They clean up pretty easily. You could also cover them with a blanket to reduce skin exposure.I originally got the White-gray-khaki color scheme (which according to the picture is identical to Cream-gray-beige). There are 5 brown tiles, 5 white tiles, and 6 gray tiles in my set. I wish that a suggested pattern was included with the tiles so I didn't have to try to come up with one that looked symmetrical to me (I realize now I could have returned to the product listing as an easy pattern is shown in the picture!). There are a limited number of edge pieces that work with the corners so if you care about the edge either matching or contrasting with the square next to it and you're also trying to create a pattern, pay attention while assembling. After a week or so I decided that the 4x4 assembly didn't cover quite enough floor space so I also ordered a Cream-gray-black set. Note that the grays in the different sets do NOT match.My cat clawed some of these up pretty quickly, but that is not a knock on this set. Just something to keep in mind if you have a scratch-happy cat. We bought her a new scratching rug and she leaves these alone now. The gouges she made are not causing any issues with foam bits flaking off, which is good. Overall I recommend this set.

Super cute and matches the wood floors I have in my living room. Easy to put together and has held up well with a baby and medium size dog!

I only got 15 pieces, not 16. So it doesn’t make the 4 by 4 mat. Can’t get a refund or replacement without sending the one I have back. Don’t wanna go through that as it took two weeks to get the first time.
