This is the best boundary wire that I have used so far. I have not experienced any more broken wire issues after installing it. I highly recommend it.

The 1640 ft (500m) 16 Gauge (1.6mm) Aluminum Wire for Electric Fencing serves as a vital component in electric fence installations. Here's an honest review of this product:Pros:Durable and Weather-Resistant: The aluminum construction of this wire makes it highly durable and resistant to the elements. It can withstand exposure to rain, snow, and UV rays without corroding or degrading over time.Easy to Work With: The wire is relatively easy to handle and work with during installation. Its flexibility allows for smooth positioning around posts and corners, which is crucial for setting up an effective electric fence.Corrosion Resistance: Unlike steel wire, aluminum wire is naturally resistant to corrosion, which extends the lifespan of your electric fence and reduces the need for frequent replacements.High Conductivity: Aluminum is an excellent conductor of electricity, ensuring that the electric current flows consistently and effectively throughout the length of the fence. This is essential for maintaining the fence's security.Generous Length: With a length of 1640 ft (500m), this wire provides ample coverage for fencing large areas, making it suitable for agricultural or livestock applications.Versatile Use: While primarily intended for electric fencing, aluminum wire can have other uses, such as crafting and DIY projects.Cons:Thinner Gauge: The 16-gauge (1.6mm) thickness, while suitable for many electric fence applications, may not be the most robust option for very demanding situations or for deterring larger animals.Price Consideration: Aluminum wire can be more expensive than traditional steel wire, which could be a drawback for those on a tight budget. However, its durability and resistance to corrosion justify the cost for many users.Requires Insulators: When used for electric fencing, aluminum wire typically requires insulators to prevent short-circuits through contact with fence posts. This adds an additional cost and installation step.May Need Tensioning: Over time, aluminum wire may slacken, especially in longer fence lines. Periodic tensioning may be necessary to maintain the fence's effectiveness. In conclusion, the 1640 ft (500m) 16 Gauge (1.6mm) Aluminum Wire for Electric Fencing is a reliable and durable choice for electric fence installations. Its weather resistance, conductivity, and corrosion resistance make it a practical option for various fencing needs, particularly in agricultural or livestock contexts. While the thinner gauge may not be suitable for all applications, it serves well in many scenarios. If you prioritize longevity and ease of maintenance for your electric fence, this aluminum wire is a worthy investment that can provide years of dependable service.

I bought this for my garden electric fence. It was easy running the lines but took a little time to turn the spool as I walked along. The wire came out nice and straight and I didn't have any problem with the wire having some kind of curl in it as I installed it. It is holding up fine and only once did I have to use my line tensioners. That may have even been movement by my fiberglass posts but I don't think so. I am very happy with this wire, and I have plenty left over.

Works great and provides a powerful quick hot line to keep pigs in their pen. Much cheaper then field fencing and much easier to move around and reuse.
