I wanted to add a little color to my all black Ford Ecosport. There is no adhesive to stick this to anything, which is a shame, there is a perfect spot the perfect size this would fit in the doors, but unless I use adhesive of some kind it obviously won’t stay, it is made to kinda wedge between 2 seams and get pinched to stay in place. If you can pick how you would shove a rubber wedge into something to stay in place like shoving a wedge between the floor and the bottom of a door, then you have the idea… there is bending rubber on the opposite side of the color you choose and you need to find a seam that you can lift enough to shove it into and pinch it and go all the way around the seam until you have your desired effect. It looks good with the matching vent pieces. Only downfall is if your not careful it can scratch with dirt and dent while installing with the tool it comes with if you slip while installing… so have patience. Also doesn’t do well with tight bends, curves look good, but bends even 90* angles cause a pucker in the material.UPDATE: so it’s been a few months that it’s been on and all the blue had faded and I’m left with a shiny silver color, which would look nice if I wanted silver… another small issue is that it’s summertime, the sun is hot and now that it’s silver it’s highly reflective, so if the sun hits it just right the reflection causes a very intense reflection that has caused some of my permanent OEM fixtures to melt!!! Or at least cause permanent wrinkles and puckers in the plastic overlay. If I can add a picture I will.

It's a nice touch and has great color but is very hard to work with it. Very stiff and the lip is narrow

This was a waste of money and time, I usually don't review items but this was not at all a good product. Good thing it was not expensive and it's true you get what you pay for but I paid to throw this in the trash and wasted over an hour of my time trying to install this anywhere - literally anywhere in my Yukon and couldn't get it to stay in place. Not user error I'm a handy crafty person and do a lot DIY projects. The mounding trim is too stiff it needs to be flexible and the part you slide into the gap so it will stay is far too short so it has nothing to hold it in place. Don't waste your money

I bought this trim for my mirror in bathroom it kept moving needed something to stop that it worked so well and made me very happy, but then there was half left over, and it looks great in my car as well

Was relatively difficult to install but looked great once finished. The issue is that literally less than a day after installing every corner started to wrinkle with the foil separating from the rubber. Extremely disappointed that I took so much time and care installing it for nothing. Definitely false advertising because the description says it is flexible.
