I'm fairly impressed with this small screwgun. For it's size and weight it's a great size for keeping around the house, as I've got several 18v guns etc in the garage where most are needed. I've put this through several paces such as building a bird house (fairly delicate) to driving some gate screws (much more robust) and drilling a few holes around. Worked like a champ for a smaller projects and is a very comfortable gun to hold and use. It feels like a very solid built, quite versatile scewgun. I certainly love the fact that it has a standard keyless chuck and torque range setting. Also nice the obligatory led/light that most seem to come with now (which my older hard working ones don't have) The trigger has a very nice feel and control.Why I'd never buy such a unit, EVEN though it's a very good price for the item, is that I HATE throwaway tools. If it's only got one battery and it's not a standard sized that I can easily replace and/or have an extra on hand it means that when (not if; with batteries it's WHEN from my experience) the battery goes bad you've pretty much gotta just toss the tool, cause attempting to find a replacement seems anymore a lost art. ONE battery "kits" in my book are a no go!Course if your wanting/needing some thing just for a while to toss, or loan out, it is a very good priced unit that has good points! Also, one battery means waiting at least an hour to resume a project if the battery dies during the process.

Awesome tool! This drill showed up well packaged and is a quality tool. After charging the battery I put it straight to work to test its power and it did not disappoint! It is very lightweight and easy to use but does not lack in power like others. Did not skip a beat. Used it all day almost before noticing the battery lights were dropping, so I would say it has plenty of battery life. The design and functionality is top tier. Very good drill that is easily one of the best value for the money.

This drill is compact but works really well for around the home jobs. I ordered it for my husband and he really likes it just wish it had come with more than one battery but it will definitely be a handy tool to have around our house.

Don't let the size of the drill or the battery size give you the wrong impression. While it's quite powerful, it's more than sufficient for the average home user.The battery is 16.8v. The two speed option is really good to tackle a wide variety of tasks. The 3/8" chuck is generous enough to accept a decent variety of bits needed around the house.The beauty of it being brushless allows the drill to be compact yet powerful.I've not used it extensively, so I can't comment on the battery life. But What I can say is that it is compact, and has a built in socket for the coaxial power plug to go into. This eliminates the need for a complicated charger and makes storage easier. The unit comes with only one battery.I'll have to search around and see if I can find replacement batteries in case mine dies. Although I think I might be able to hack this and simply replace the four 18650 cells, but I'm not there yet. :)The design of a more prevalent designs of drills allow you to stand up the drill vertically which makes it easier to put down and pick up while working. This specific drill doesn't stay upright. While that may make things a bit inconvenient, I think having a holster or a tool-belt can alleviate this shortcoming.In terms of price point, it might appear a bit more costly compared to stores with HF initials.All in all, I love the drill, and can't wait to use it.

We’ve always had a cordless drill for the myriad projects that come up around the house that require one. So we were aware they were handy to have, and we realized that even more after both of our old ones failed at the same time about 6 months ago. We didn’t immediately replace them, but over that time there were so many things that came up that we needed one for, so many small, and larger, projects that got postponed or done poorly and slowly. We finally got smart and ordered this great cordless drill, and gosh, it has already helped us with so many projects! The latest has been assembling a cat wheel with well over 100 screws. Without this drill, the ultimate screwdriver, it would have taken so much longer and would have been so much more tedious! It was the difference between getting it done and putting it off, and it made the most tedious part the easiest. My husband raved over the way it handled and how much power and control he had with it, and I felt the same way. I also liked the fact that it was lightweight and I could use it easily. Interestingly enough, after installing all those screws, we still have full power left to carry on with the next project. At this point, I consider a cordless drill a must have in our household, and this one is excellent. I would order it again in a heartbeat!
