I bought this specifically to use with my Harbor Freight 8" exhaust fan so I could evacuate rooms I'm drywall sanding. Worked great for that. It fits around the exhaust end of the fan and seems to do what it's intended to do. I think you could easily run it in the opposite direction (pulling rather than pushing) but I haven't tried that yet. Well made and appears durable.

It seems really sturdy and it fits good with the large attachment hood on one end. This one was the 3rd tube I bought, because the other 2 were smaller than a 12" inside diameter.

I use the duct as a tunnel for my cats. It is attached to the outside of the cat flap on my back door and runs to an outdoor catio. It is strong and flexible, allowing me to open and close my back door and it keeps the cats safe and secure during their brief journey between the inside and outside worlds. They feel safe, and love it! This is my second. The first lasted 3 years before holes started appearing in the fabric. It did require a 8 in.duct connector flange screwed to the back of the cat flap and a a 12in. hose clamp, and then the other end is just zip tied to an opening in the catio. Most tunnels are flimsy, or would allow predators to stalk the cats. This works great!

when I am spraying a room, doing demo, blowing foam, I shut off the registers and returns so that no debris gets in the duct - but in the summer it becomes awfully stuffy. attaching the duct to my air cleaner means I can blow conditioned (filtered) air into the room without any potential harm. the duct works great and is durable. it is the lack of any attachment methods that causes me to lower the rating - radiator clamp, velcro, something. i’m also not in love the shoe lace on the discharge end but am happy to live it.I wish I had this twenty years ago!

This 16FT PVC Flexible Duct Pipe is a good choice for my garage -to- attic fan vent—I give it 5-Stars on Length Value:Good Quality Material: Made of PVC, this duct pipe should be durable even in the SoFL attic heat.(I'll update if that proves inaccurate)Perfect for Garage/Attic Ventilation: I used this for venting from my garage to the attic, as mentioned, and this flexible duct pipe proved just right for what I needed. The combination with the exhaust fan has improved air circulation and helped to bring down the temps up in the attic.Easy Installation: This duct pipe easily attaches to fan baffle which made the installation super simple.Overall:If you're looking for a good quality PVC duct pipe to vent this 16-foot PVC pipe is a good option that even comes with an S hook and steel support for hanging from truss or joist. It's a breeze!
