Propane Melting Furnace Kits
Large Smelter with Large Crucibles
1. Large capacity, could contain 6KG to 16KG crucibles.
- Furnace Body Size: 12" diameter x 15" height (30cm x 37cm)
- Inner Size: 8" diameter x 10"Height (20cm x 24cm)
2. Large Crucibles include:
- 16kg crucible: 6.5''(16.5cm)(diameter) x 7.8''(20cm)(height). Melt 30KG gold,18KG silver,15KG copper,5KG aluminum.
- 6kg crucible: 4.7''(diameter) x 5.8''. It can melt 6kg brass or 1.8kg aluminum or 7kg silver
High Temperature Resistance
- The foundry furnace are fully lined with 2 inch of ceramic fiber insulation which can withstand high temperatures of 2642℉(1450° C).
- The graphite crucibles could withstand 3272°F(1800℃). Graphite crucible is consumable, you could buy new one according to your requirement.

Melting Furnace with High Quality
LSMIITTH furnace is made of 1.5mm thickness steel, and full body take full welding technology, superior strength and durability.
The smelter lid was hinged with furnace pot, which reduce the risk of liquid spout out.
Regulator suitable for American Propane Tank
Input QCC type, Output 5/8".
Maximum output can reach 30PSI (CSA).
You could adjust the pressure with the regulator.
Full lined Ceramic Fiber Insulation and bottom Firebrick
The metal furnace are fully lined with 2 inch ceramic fiber insulation, which could withstand high temperatures of 2642℉(1425° C).
You could melt glass, copper, aluminum, gold,silver, zinc, tin and other metals with melting points below 2372℉(1300℃).
Connect the Burner to the Furnace
1. Put the coupler (the bell shape flame outlet) inside the hole
2. Slide the steel pipe through the hole
3. Screw into the coupler by thread
- Use the ceramic insulation to seal the gap between burner and furnace, which could prevent the fire splash
- Pull the burner outward after the burner installed, keep the burner head immersed in the caremic insulation, which could protect the burner head and ensure the crucible can be placed in the furnace properly.
Forge Burner Output is 100,000 BTU
This forge can be used for knife making, blacksmithing, glass making or anything else you can think of that requires heating up stuff to a really hot temperature.
- The burner head is connected by thread, which could be replaced directly if it were damaged during long time smelting.

The furnace itself looks fine. The issue I had was with the burner there was flashing around the seems that I had to file off for it to fit into the burner hole on furnace. Not a huge issue I’m sure anyone using this furnace would have access to tools to fix this issue but it was an inconvenience.

I have been using this for a few months now and with the exception of a few items that are consumable, the only complaints I have are the hinge is very weak, so I welded on a stronger hinge and the biggest item I don't like it the ceramic wool. While it is a fantastic insulator, it is open to the direct flame with causes it to shed off over time and blows out with the flame. Ceramic fiber wool is VERY similar to asbestos....you know what that does if inhaled. Wear a mask when working with this furnace!

The instruction guide is not enough at all, hard to operate, and the quality doesn't really match this price point.
