I remember building a custom speaker enclosure out of fiberglass many, many years ago. That was a really messy and time intensive process. It sure would have been nice to have this kit back then.The fiberglass mat is good quality, though I do wish it was a little wider. There is no resin binder provided, but it's relatively easy to find a can of polyester resin at your local hardware/big box store. What makes this kit great are actually the rollers. These are specialty tools that are not particularly easy to find and they really help get the bubbles and air spaces out of your finished product. I think it's a great kit for beginners and DIYers.

this is not a cloth, I order it as a uni replacement, it had lay up tools. but it was a score. used it and I was surprised how well it maintain it's shape, because the Matt of the back. it is actually consider a Triax fiberglass (biax + matt). This product could be used as a uni directional replacement fibers! Willrecommend anyone who needs strength on their fiberglass reinforment. As strands directions are 0, 90 +Matt. Regular biax is +-45.
