I ordered this part back in November and my car ran great for a little under three months and then the starter died again. I wouldn’t recommend.

Came with the nut and washers that were needed so i didnt have to reuse any parts other than the bolts for the engine block. Would recommend this for anyone, Starts strong everytime now 🙏💪 I will come back after a while to give another review

The individual castings that make up this unit appeared to be of good quality. I installed it at the same time as a heater tube replacement for a 2011 Honda CRV. Only had to remove about 10 bolts to get to it, but felt like I was removing half the engine bay. Figuring out how to disconnect the many wire connectors needed to remove components to get access to the starter and heater tube was difficult. Not a hard repair but an involved repair. As a backyard mechanic figure it will take you most of a day to do this one. Hopeful that it will continue to work well as I don't want to have to do it again.

I ordered a starter for a 07 Honda accord coupe 2.4l automatic trans. Amazon said it would work for this vehicle and it did. I was worried for a little bit that it wouldn't work because there was 2 things that didn't match the old starter. The flange where the bolts go through was shaped a little different and the starters motor had bolts that ran outside the case . The new one has bolts that run inside the case. Regardless of the difference it mounted perfectly and worked first try. It also allowed me to have food throughout the week if I would of bought it from autozone I'd be starving because they wanted to charge almost $300 after tax. I'm happy with the purchase will update if it fails early.
