These are inexpensive bits. They're not going to last long. But that doesn't matter when you get this many of them in a package. Great for light hobby CNC work on softwoods. Haven't tried on hardwood yet but I've got enough to spare, so I'm not too worried about finding out if it breaks on those.

This is a great bit to use with light duty CNC routers - the 1/8” width doesn’t waste a lot of material, and the up cut design lifts the chips out of the cut. But with CNC you need lots of bits - no fault of the bit but typically the operator. When you’re cutting by hand, you can feel how the cut is going and you don’t push it too far. But with CNC you don’t get much warning before the bit just breaks - that’s why you need more than one. Get several of these sets - you’ll ultimately need them.

I've been using these 1/8" shank straight router bits for my CNC projects, and I'm really impressed. They're sharp, durable, and cut cleanly through a variety of materials. The 10-piece set is perfect for different applications, and the 3.175mm shank is compatible with my X-Carve. These bits have become an essential part of my CNC setup, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and affordable router bits.

Doesn't appear these have had any heat treatment like some of my other bits but that's not going to matter much using it for small wood projects or lighter metal, possibly a little less longevity but you get plenty of bits to last a while.

Ran a test on some cherry and these mills will definitely remove material nicely! Being an upcut bit you may get some tearout or furring on plywood but I didn't run into any chipping issues on a solid piece of cherry. Was able to motor through at a reasonable depth and the cuts were clean!
