In short, this ring light set provides a portable & space-saving features to sufficiently light up a small area suitable for photography. The tripod is a bit flimsy but the ring light itself is very lightweight so I don't foresee a durability issue, at least not without some misuse. I was expecting the ring light to be very bright as it's advertised to be 55 watts in output. LED bulbs of this power rating would equate to somewhere around 200-300 watts in incandescent bulbs in brightness. But I just didn't find this to be the case in real life, at least with these anyways.That said, I love the dynamic & precision control that allows me to adjust both the brightness and color temps from warm to cold with two dial buttons. IR remote works well but it needs a pair of AAA batteries which aren't included in the purchase. The tiny Bluetooth remote is for taking pictures so the user would in turn, pair with their phones or other Bluetooth-enabled camera devices.Moving forward, I feel that the included phone mount is weird choice since it secures phones lengthwise as opposed to the sides horizontally. It'd work for IPhones but would most likely cover up camera sensors for most Android phones that line up lenses horizontally. The hard plastic case it ships with comes with a handle so it's actually meant to be kept and used as a carrying/storage case. It's quite durable but it doesn't open up in the traditional sense. It's secured by way of simple latches which means I'd have to uncouple them from all sides in order to access the contents within.To close, it's a nice affordable ring light assembly. It comes with all the bells and whistles but lacks somewhat in lumens. The build quality isn't stellar by any means, but certainly in line with its price bracket. 4 out of 5 stars.

Excellent value here as this kit comes with pretty much everything you need to get a decent shoot. Stand and light is well made and ring light gets super bright allowing you to capture the perfect shot. 5 stars here *****

Found it easy to setup and use, decently bright and controllable with the remote. I should ding a * for the USB on my unit not working, and I suspect there is a quality insurance fail there. For me though that doesn't really affect my use so I'm not worried about it.
