Could've been packaged better. The clips were all in the plastic case that were shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box. The plastic container broke during shipping. I'll have to move them into another container. Description does not have what the breaking strength is but they seem pretty durable. There is only 1 spring between the 2 clips so only one side can be fully opened at a time, if you try opening both sides at the same time they will open about halfway. The clip opening is about 5/16".
