We purchased this elastic band to replace the old drawstrings in my swimsuit. After cutting and sewing it onto the garment, the material worked remarkably well, offering excellent elasticity.It's noteworthy that being flesh-colored, it blends seamlessly with the body, creating a sense of almost wearing nothing.So, overall, its quality corresponds well with its price. For any project involving elastic that aims for a discreet match with skin color, it works perfectly.

I purchased ElasticByTheYard White 1/8" Skinny Elastic for ear loops on face masks. ElasticByTheYard White 1/8" Skinny Elastic came as described and true to width and length. I have washed the masks with ElasticByTheYard White 1/8" Skinny Elastic at least 50 times now and the elastic is still holding up, it is not stretched out or ripping. ElasticByTheYard White 1/8" Skinny Elastic is comfortable and is less abrasive than other elastic that I have purchased and put in masks. I highly recommend ElasticByTheYard White 1/8" Skinny Elastic.

This elastic is exactly as listed by the seller. It has enough stretch to be durable but is thin enough for comfort. The package arrived neatly wrapped and ready for use. Other elastics that I’ve ordered recently from other sellers came jumbled and tangled requiring me to wrap and organize. This one was the opposite of haphazard! I wish I could order more colors of this same product and definitely from this same seller!

Most vendors offered way more yardage than I needed, so I chose this vendor because they offer smaller packages - just 5 yards. The order arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion. It was wound nicely on a piece of cardboard - easy to unwind and measure off what I needed. The color was actually white (as advertised) and stretched as one would expect of a new product. I have only used the final product once since sewing it and am very happy with the elastic. Having had it for only a short time, I cannot comment about the durability. I expect that I will be happy with that based on what I have seen so far. If it turns out to be durable I will bump it up to 5 stars.

I bought this elastic twice as the product was of good quality and I received it well packaged and right away. I used the elastic to make masks and the elastic worked out very well.

Price gouging is evident here--ordinarily 5 yards of this skinny elastic would be much cheaper. But elastic is in high demand and gone from stores, which is the only reason I purchased this. It worked well for the face masks I made. It is very stretchy and comfortable over the ears.

I received product that was not good quality from 2 other sellers, so I was hesitant to try again. This seems to be sturdy and well made and is a big improvement. It shipped the same day I ordered it. It is flat elastic, not cording, in case that matters for your project. It comes wrapped on a cute little cardboard card. It costs more per yard than I would ordinarily pay in a fabric store, but they have been out of stock for months now, so I am glad to have found this. Will be using it for earloops for masks.Update: I have made a few masks with this since I got it, and it is holding up fine. I wash them in warm water, but I do not put them in the dryer, so I cannot comment on how that may affect it. I am glad to have found a good seller that takes pride in the product. I am placing my second order so I can replace the elastic when it wears out, as all elastic does. You can't go wrong with this.UPDATE: I have worn (all day at work) and washed the facemasks I used this for many times in the last several months and the elastic is still holding up great. I am replacing the masks only because current guidance recommends it, not because of any issues. I just ordered more of this for the new ones. Ordering this online is much more convenient than having to go to the fabric store when this is the only thing I need.

Excellent quality for the price. I got the pink and it was exactly the color shown, with other companies it’s rarely the color you expect to get. Great stretch to the elastic, 1” elastic stretches comfortably to 2”, but can go to 2 1/2”. Soft elastic, easy to sew. I recently placed an order for another order.
