These worked perfect for our needs. Plates come raw finished and I was able to get the brushed nickel finish that I was looking for by running the face across a large green scotch brite pad in a straight back and forth motion. Turned out nice and would buy from this company again. Thank you!!

I bought it not knowing that there are two types of stainless steel: austenitic (non-magnetic, which this purchase turned out to be) and martensitic (magnetic). I was hoping to glue this steel plate to a surface and then place an item on it using a magnet, but my magnet didn't work on it because it is austenitic stainless. I had wrongly assumed all stainless steel would attract magnets. There was nothing wrong with this steel plate, but it simply was not the type of steel I needed. Only gave it 1 star because I wish the type of steel it is had been mentioned in the description but wasn't.

used this as a blanking plate for hole in a boat deck, circle is well cut and steel is good quality. This was a convenient find for my needs as cutting a perfect circle in stainless is not something I can do myself
