I could not tighten my caliper without it shifting out of line and then pushing against the rotor no matter what i did. The bolts were either too loose with good fitment, or torqued properly with the caliper rubbing against the rotor. I bought the equivalent shimano adapter and it worked perfectly the first time. Not sure why, but i’m assuming it’s because of all the extra hardware that comes with shimano. This adapter also held the caliper slightly further out on the rotor whereas the shimano one was more centered. Overall it was a waste of time and not worth saving a dollar or two.

This is a tricky piece as I think the surfaces are not machined to an exact tolerance. Feels cast with some clean up? The mounting surfaces are certainly not perfectly square as the caliper would shift upon tighten. I am an experienced mechanic and got it to work but...
