Used to build a Bridge. Worked very well. Not sure if I was to leave the clear plastic on. It appeared to be a gide but it fell off.

This saw works great. It is very powerful with smooth trigger speed control. I just used it to cut out an elliptical table out of 1 1/4" ash. It cut very smoothly and it blows the dust off the cut line and lights it. And not having a cord is a real joy!Note that this is the UK manufactured model and although it looks like the cheaper one made in china but this one has a dust blower which is at least as important as the light -- Jig saws always put dust all over the line you are trying to follow.

Great tool. Can wait to upload some pictures of it in action.It is heavier than my corded Jig saws but the weight is a added benefit when your making cuts.I want to give it 4.5 stars because it does't have storage for a extra blade.Over all this is a great tool.

This is, hands down, the best jig saw I have ever used. Until I used this saw, I hated jig saws. I could never get a decent cut. That has all changed!This saw, even with the battery on it is not bulky or heavy. The convenience of no power cord to get in the way is a definite plus-plus.

I have wanted this tool for a while, I got it! I have a bosch corded one and it is a nice saw, but to change the blade is ridiculous!! This jig saw is great lots of power smooth operation, and the best is the blade change what an awesome set up! another awesome Makita tool!
