This part works however there is a silver clip in the way that prevents the clip from locking.I scanned my vehicle after completing the installation of the new GM vent valve and this after market connector and my evap is working as it should so the Bottom line is I don't see any issues and the car is definitely running better now so I'm OK with this wire adoptor but time will tell.I definitely will recommend spending the extra money and buying a OEM part of at least a Dorman for peace of mind.

As a less expensive alternative to the AC Delco part, this worked well - with one problem. There is a silver metal clip for attaching it to something installed, that prevents the two parts of the connector from snapping into place. I had to remove that clip to make it fit.

Bought this expecting it to fit as it should and sure enough it doesn't! Rather than waiting for another one, I cut and soldered the vehicle side. Would not recommend unless you plan on using it the way I did. 2007 Suburban LTZ 5.3l.
