These carabiners are extremely well built and are the perfect size for almost any application. The spring is springy, the metal is strong and durable, and the whole thing will do well in most situations. Would highly recommend this product.

I like these little carabiner snap hooks. They are just the right size to handle rope in the ¼ to 3/8 inch size range, and compared with typical carabiners these have a separate eye that the rope can be tied through. So, the rope can't accidentally slip of when you open the spring gate.The carabiners are made of a good grade 304 stainless steel that is appropriate for outdoor use. It's not a marine grade of stainless so these could develop a little rust over time if exposed to a constant salt water environment. But you'd pay ten times what these cost for marine hardware.The carabiners have a smooth, polished finish and the spring gates work smoothly. The gates open about 7/16 inch (see photo). Overall, these look good and function as they should making for a five-star rating from me.
