They feature a 7/8" diameter solid steel bar and come with all hardware needed for a successful installation. If your 1955-57 Compatible with Chevy came with an anti-sway bar from the factory, chances are this kit will be a direct replacement. If it did not, a small amount of drilling will be required for installation of the sway bar kit. Achieve flatter cornering. Complements front sway bar to reduce understeer and gain more neutral handing. Adds to cornering stability at speed. Solid steel 7/8" diameter bar. Includes polyurethane bushings for increased responsiveness. Black powder coated finish. Corrosion resistant zinc plated hardware included. Fits: 55-57 Compatible with Chevrolet Full Size & Station Wagon.

There wasn’t really any measurement on this. I added some pictures thought it would work on my 1956 Ford F150, but it was definitely too wide.

Purchased both front and rear Sway Bar Kits for my 1955 Chevy. Front is installed and fit perfectly. Have not yet installed the rear kit but if it is as easy and instructions are as clear as the front kit it too is 5 Star!

This product fit my 1957 Chevy 9 passenger station wagon with no issues. Very happy with it and good product all the way around it significant adjustment features where it mounts to the axle so it is possible it could fit the standard 6 passenger wagon as well. The Center bump out in the sway bar angles downward to help create clearance between the spare tire carrier in my 9 passenger wagon and definitely will Aid in possible clearance for the standard 6 passenger wagon
