Great size product but the glue dots they give you to put in the wall do not stick well and it has fallen off the wall everyday

I've been looking for something that I could use to document our state travels with our kids. We camp every summer and have visited many states, but there are many more we need to visit! When you open the box you can smell the burnt wood, I'm guessing it's laser cut and that's what I'm smelling. The frame part seems a tad fragile and all the states are jumbled together in the box. The cardboard inserts seem sturdier than the frames themselves and need to be removed from the flat sheets that are in the box. I haven't put it on the wall yet, so I don't know how the included glue dots work. I'm tempted to put this on a frame instead of directly on a wall in case I want to move it - i don't have to redo the entire US! The online software seems easy to use, I was able to upload a photo, resize/rotate it to fit the state the picture was from. I'm going to have a lot of fun picking pictures for all the different states we've been to with the kids! Perfect summer project! Considering the flimsiness of the frames I don't know if I would pay full price for this, I'd say maybe half of what it's listed at ($56).

I LOVE this item! I have been looking for the perfect thing to mark all my travels, and this is it! My mom collected fridge magnets from all the states she visited, but I like this because it shows the places I haven't visited, and it makes me want to plan a trip there.Just be aware that the state outlines are SUPER fragile!

There is a laser cut plywood outline and laser cut perforated corrugated cardboard for each state. None have protective tape. The outlines all have multiple burns from the laser beam where it overheated the wood to the point of charring. Most of the outlines are also warped. They all come in a pile inside the box, so it is possible they got warped from that, but I do not acre - they wouldn't lay flat against the wall. The corrugated cardboard for the states is nicer than I thought it would be. It is thick and sturdy, but flexible. It would be like embroidering on paper, but not as fragile.the inserts fit inside their outlines very nicely and they stay in well. They included glue dots of about microscopic size, each on its own 1 inch square of backing paper to underline how puny they are, maybe about 1/8th of an inch.I am so discouraged by the quality. I was planning to embroider it with many different needlepoint stitches, but it wouldn't work as it is because of the frames/outlines are so poorly made. The perforated parts were still intact and need to be popped out of the chipboard sheets, but they are all nice and flat. So, if you be able to work on restoring the outlines to be flat, finishing them to cover burn marks, and providing your own adhesive to attach the pieces to a surface, then ok, maybe if the kit was sold for $20 it might be ok. it is not OK at all for $56 it is being sold now. It is not ready to finish in a way it is described.

Cute concept, wish it had some sort of frame with it. There are multiple options for filling in the pictures, and glue dots to mount it on the wall.
