Expandable arm that works to extend brushes, squeegees and anything you can screw it into. Extends to about 36 inches. Sturdy and lightweight.

The aluminum on this extension pole feels good quality and is lightweight not making it harder on you when trying to reach high places. The handle is soft and grippy and Matheson screw head will fit multiple tools, not just paint rollers. You can extend it to multiple lengths, but the plastic clips that you have to engage to keep it in place feel a little cheap, like they could easily break off when just trying to get it set to the correct length.

This seems to be a will made extension pole. The description however is not quite accurate I measure this to be a little over 16 inches long fully closed and 3 feet fully open and for the weight on my scale just under 9 ounces. So being lighter weight than the described 11.7 ounces is a good thing to me and even though it's a little longer than 12 inches that is not a big deal in my case.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this pole. In my experience, these inexpensive poles tend to not lock securely into place, and flex/bend under very little pressure. I was absolutely thrilled when I pulled this out of the box and tried it out.First of all, there are 2 extension tubes so you only need to pull out the exact amount you need. Second, this pole has the tabs to lock the pole into position, instead of the more common twist locks (which always seem to unlock by themselves at the worst time). This gives you a secure pole to work with knowing it will stay locked in place. Third, the poles are thick enough that they are quite stable and rigid. No flex at all, so when extended, you can actually put a decent amount of pressure on it without it bending or breaking. It also has a foam cushion handle for a better grip.I got this mainly to use with my cleaning pad/squeegee combination to clean the windshield on my truck (pollen is terrible this time of year). I can never reach across far enough to do the whole thing from one side. With this extension pole, I can reach it easily. Since it is rigid, the squeegee makes good contact across the entire windshield. The screw on end fits my cleaning head perfectly. In addition, this would be good for a painting roller, or other tasks where you need just a couple of feet more reach, but don't need a long pole. This is the perfect in-between length. It is not often I give 5 star reviews, but this is definitely one that deserves it! I am quite impressed with the build quality of this pole, and it is worth the price ($14 as of this review).

Regarding my reviews: You can trust that they are unbiased. I'll point out the good and the bad of whatever I review, otherwise why else would you take the time to read it.I bought this extendable handle to use for painting the walls and eight foot ceiling in our house. I've been using stacking hardwood poles for this purpose but holding the smaller wooden handle and the weight of the stacked poles would make my hand tired after awhile so a larger handle, lighter weight and quick change length made me look for alternatives.Pros: After opening the box I was happy that the diameter of the poles were even larger than I expected. I was hoping that the extension locks would hold the poles in the set position without slipping and they do (time will tell how they hold up). There is no rocking between the poles because the fit between the inner and out pieces is precise and the action smooth. The 3/4" threaded end piece is sized correctly. The price is great, at 10 bucks it's a great value. The picture of the pole in my hand is so you could see the size of it.The other two are comparison pictures to show the length of the wooden poles stacked and single vs. the new extendable pole extended and collapsed with the new pole on the roller.Cons: None I see at the present, after using it for awhile I'll update this review with how it's holding up, good and/or bad.

This is a very well built and sturdy extension pole. It does not extend out very far, but I got it for this purpose because of its shortened size, it seems to be more durable than the longer ones. The clasps that hold the pole in place are well built and hold well also. I have not had any issues with the latches locking up like other extension poles tend to. Should last quite a while for what I use it for.

This is a great paint pole. Thought it would be like all the rest but this one is superior. Instead of locking collars you twist to secure the pull out extensions this pole has locking tabs. Let me tell you these tags are STRONG! I extended the pole to its full length, locked the tabs and then tried pushing from both ends... The pole never even budged. I like that the handle is padded and though it's plastic and light is extremely strong and durable. I will be telling everyone about this pole!! It's a GREAT BUY!

When fully extended, this telescoping extension pole is only three feet long, so it’s perfect to keep and stow on a dinghy or small boat. Collapsed, its shortest length is 17 inches. Although relatively short, it works great for grabbing lines and docks just out of arm's reach. This pole comes without a hook or other attachment. It’s capable of holding any standard broom thread ¾-inch screw-on accessory. I separately purchased a stainless steel boat hook end and a deck scrub brush head. There are many other useful attachments that could mount on this pole, such as squeegees and paint rollers. The extension locks are a flip-up style that I think works better than the traditional twist lock style. Blue foam grips on the lower section is a good firm place to grab. Although the black metal finish looks great, the foam grips are essential because the black metal handle can get too hot to hold in the Florida tropical sun.
