These came in a box clearly designed to mimic a major brand name. I do not appreciate the trademark infringement or the counterfeit product. The product itself is just fine, but IP theft is still theft.

The cutting teeth on my old tape dispenser had gotten bent somehow, making it difficult to tear off a piece of tape. The teeth were sharp; they just were not lined up exactly the way they needed to be. I had never realized how incredibly sensitive the tape tearing process is to the exact placement of the teeth! That's the whole reason I decided to get a new tape dispenser -- for an easy, reliable tear.This item happens to be a 3-pack. When I put my roll of tape in the first dispenser, it was extremely difficult to tear off a piece of tape! It was arguably harder than with my old (broken) tape dispenser! The cutting teeth seemed sharp by feel, and were in a straight row, but somehow, the whole row of cutting teeth must have been at a bad angle relative to the tape. I moved the same roll of tape to the 2nd dispenser, and that one worked perfectly! The 3rd tape dispenser worked well also.Could this have been a 1-in-a-million problem with that one tape dispenser? I suppose so. But it's also clear that the factory doesn't do sufficient quality control, to make sure that every tape dispenser leaving the assembly line works perfectly (or perhaps works at all)!

The 3 pack is nice! You have 1 dispenser for several rooms. It's nice that it's one piece. The center, loading area, is attached and can't get lost. Perfect weight so it doesn't tip over while using.

These are the solid tape dispensers you see in offices. They are heavily weighted to stay firmly on the desk while you're unrolling and cutting a length of tape. There is a serrated cutting edge to easily cut the tape. No actual tape is included, but, they take the standard-sized rolls that are available everywhere.There's even one premium feature: most similar tape dispensers have a plastic "hub" that you insert into the tape roll, which is a separate piece from the dispenser itself. This means that it is possible for the hub to fall out, roll under a desk, and now you just have a paperweight. With these dispensers, the hub is attached to the dispenser - it slides side to side so you can insert the roll of tape, but, it's not a separate piece that can detach and get lost. Good design!
