Looks much better in the photos. Only the outside rim of the handle was cleaned up, the rest was raw casting. The chrome was already coming off of the bare casting part. I spent two hours with a Dremel tool cleaning it up and then bead blasted and powder coated it. It looks good now. I would have been embarrassed to install it on my mill the way it came. (I also had to machine the mounting hole and the hole for a handle. Those were both expected.). I guess you get what you pay for and this wasn't much.

It's a good price for a Chinese casting kit. Depending on your use, you may need to do some machining. The handle on mine was somewhat rough, and the mounting hole was not concentric with with the handle or hub (+30 thou off). I fixed all that with a small amount of lathe work. Can't expect much more at the price point, so I'm happy with the purchase.
