  • 1.The Socket Saver can extend the life of the test sockets on your Amplifier.
  • This adapter is installed via simple hardware into each socket of your amplifier. The Socket Saver then takes all the wear of inserting and extracting tubes from the amplifier. If the Socket Saver becomes worn, simply replace the Socket Saver instead of wearing out your amplifier test sockets.
  • 2.The Socket Saver can increase height
  • When the opening of the panel of the amplifier is too small and the tube or adapter cannot be inserted, we can use this socket saver to increase the height.

Without this adaptor my tube amplifier would not be able to use the Sylvania vintage 2a3W tubes because their wide base is not compatible with the standard UX4 socket base. I needed 2 of these adaptors to successfully use my New Old stock tubes in my Amplifier. The sound is wonderful. I am so glad I chose this product,
