I used this motor driver to make an ebike out of a hoverboard for less than $30! Totally would recommend! The only thing I wish it had was a potentiometer to adjust the speed of the motor so if the input doesn't go to zero, you could still make the motor stop.

It works. Keep in mind you need to have a motor with Hall effect sensors (5 extra wires, 8 total wires). Motors without sensors (just 3 wires) would not work with this board.

If you pull down the stop pin it will disable your PWM input, which will mess up the module's PWM detector. Just use the brake line and leave the stop line floating and everything seems to work properly.

Bought this and a power supply to test if a motor from a non-functioning piece of equipment still worked and could be made useful again. The instructions for wiring are easy to follow, and I was able to quickly wire the motor even though I didn't know what the wires on the motor were. You can even find videos online to help if needed. The motor worked immediately, and the controller could easily control the motor speed. Next step is to put the motor to use!

I bought three of these in case of failure. One worked for a few minutes then something shorted out internally, nearly starting a battery fire. Another issue is that a few of the side holes had solder in them and had to be heated/cleaned to add headers.
