I'm using this right now for my current needle felting project. The project goes much more quickly with three needles instead of one. :-) The needles are pretty well made; I haven't had to replace one yet, but it's pretty straightforward, you just unscrew the top and replace the broken needle. For me, it's much easier to use a pen style felting needle instead of just the bare needle; I haven't have any problems with stabbing my finger since I can see where it's going more easier, and I have more control over needle placement. Good purchase.
