The pickup is thicker than advertised; mine measured around 1.75mm (advertised as 1mm), raising the string height much higher than I was hoping for.Once installed, it sounded like I expected a typical undersaddle pickup to sound, but there was a noticeable low level hum that got louder as I brought my hand closer to the saddle. I found that where the wire connected to the pickup was completely unshielded for about the last 1/2”, and covered with a small piece of black heat shrink tubing.I removed the tubing, wrapped a small piece of thin copper foil around this open area and soldered it to the exposed shield wire of the cable. This fixed the hum problem.This same pickup seems to be sold at a number of Amazon sites at varying prices, and from the construction, I would expect them all to have the same problems. So, keep in mind, this pickup probably won’t be as thin or as quiet as you would hope.

I was very happy because the last Piezo transducer I bought didn't work & I had to return it. This one fit right in the bridge, I connected it, restrung the guitar & it worked flawlessly. A recommend buy!

This installs under the bridge of my acoustic guitar- mine had an active preamp with the 2.5mm connector already, but the piezo got beat up after years of string changes. This fixed it up right away. I did have to drill the hole in the bridge a little larger to fit the connector, but no big deal. Sound is clear and bright- my guitar lives again!

Used to replace a piezo pick up that was thick and not the best. Thick pick up though good is thicker than advertised. It advertised 1mm thickness but it’s actually 1.5mm which 0.5mm is alot when dealing with saddle height. No noise and good sound but as I said, it is thicker.
