This precision hanging slotted weight set replaces my jury-rigged adjustable weight set made of hitch pins, binder rings, and washers for Kumihimo on the marudai. There is more weight in this set than most will use for that purpose, but it’s not only fast and easy to set up a weight stack, it's also repeatable as the weight are marked (in grams).Two quibbles: First, the weights were evidently marked by hand, as some of the “G’s” are upside down. Thus the 200 gram weights look like they read “2009” instead of 200G. Not a big deal, though. The plastic box could be better. As with most boxes of the type, it has a plastic hinge, which will eventually give out. Plus it’s a little fussy getting all the weights back in the box. I’m sure I’ll wind up using a small, compartmented box instead in the long run.A big upgrade for me! It might not be a top-tier scientific mass set, but for craft use it’s superb!
