This is a great way to create storage for a synthetic winch line with a locking brummell loop. I had to grind off some of the shoulder to get it to recess properly into my stock Apex winch fairlead but not a big deal for most jeepers who tend to be tool capable. I can afford the USA made alternative but choose to demonstrate that the jeeping off-road hobby can be affordable for everyone with a little creativity and financial self-control.
