It does not work in my sawzall. Too short, meaning it hits the metal guide before locking in. I could actually put it in with the stroke extended but once the saw was in action the quick release would hit the guide. Glad it was actually the opposite way when first trying to install it or I would have turn the saw on and that would not have been good.
